Teacher looking for work
I am Mr. Kim Cordle from Michigan, USA. I am writing to you today to express my interest in teaching at your school.
I feel my experience in the medical community and as a professional musician, coupled with my teaching experience, makes me a uniquely qualified candidate. I try to incorporate a musical performance into the engage phase of my lesson plans to make for lively, motivated students. I have a neutral mid-west accent, and I am very enthusiastic about teaching.
Recently I was employed by American International Training Institute in Cebu, Philippines. I finished my 6 month contract and am currently back in the USA taking care of financial matters like selling my house. I plan to return to the Philippines by mid-February and am hoping to secure a teaching position before my arrival.
Please see my enclosed resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,

Kim Cordle

Clinic Manager/Hearing Instrument Specialist
HearUSA Corporation 2008-2009

I managed and operated a medical clinic in conjunction with local ENT Dr. Raymond Komray, M.D. that specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders.

As Clinic Manager, I was directly responsible for the hiring, supervision and training of employees. I was also accountable to our corporate office for the financial health of the clinic as reported on monthly P&L reports. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as database management using CMS software.

As a Hearing Specialist (HAD), I was involved in all aspects of patient care including audiometric testing, patient counseling and customer service. The diagnostic phase required the use of audiometric equipment to reach a diagnosis and determine the proper course of action. Patient counseling involved teaching the anatomical and physiological reasons for the hearing loss to the patient. Hearing aids use a digital platform and have a wide range of technical capabilities which must be explained to the patient in an easy to understand manner. A great deal of technical computer knowledge is required as digital hearing aids are programmed and adjusted by the practitioner using various programming software. After the fitting, the patient enters the customer service phase for routine cleanings and adjustments to the hearing instruments.
